In this case discussion, we look at an interesting case from Dr David Stewart. A 42-year-old man attends for a routine skin check because his mother has just been diagnosed with melanoma.

This long-term nodular lesion is noted in a tattoo in his right arm. The patient thinks it may have got a little darker recently, but it is hard for him to tell because of the tattoo.
